I always thought the blue face with shiny silver case and band was a great look for a watch. The blue face on this watch is a very attractive middish dark blue, a tad darker than cobalt blue but you get the idea. The case and band are shiny stainless and arrived unscratched. The watch is easy to set and the date operates like most watches, pull the stem one click and spin until you get to yesterday then pull again to set the time after you pass midnight to get the date to change. The band has a foldover clasp that closes easily and securely. Links are easy to remove so the band fits, and it is a length that should accommodate most anyone after adjustment. The manufacturer included a link removal tool but I ended up using one I already have and am comfortable with. They also included a small soft cloth. The box was modest but the watch was well wrapped and tucked in the box with no shifting room. Overall this is a nice watch that has a classy look, note the crown over the brand name, and is suitable to wear any time.
