The DIN models, both in pilot and GMT format, have undergone the stringent tests mandated by DIN, formerly known as the Deutsche Industrie Norm. The Laco Hamburg DIN 8330 pilot and GMT watch build on Laco’s historical know-how and represent the best of what the brand has to offer today.

The Hamburg DIN 8330 watches share 904L stainless steel cases measuring 43.5mm wide, 49.8mm lug to lug, and 13.6mm thick. They are water resistant to 200 meters and weigh 102 grams, including the strap. Both models feature large 3, 6, and 9 numerals, date at four, distinct triangle and circle markers at twelve, and rotating bezels with distinct and easy-to-grip knurling. The pilot watch is a simple three-hander while the GMT model adds an outer 24-hour scale to pair with the additional GMT hand. The orange accents on the hand match the text on the outer dial. As a whole, both watches are clearly inspired by classic pilot’s watches.

The pilot watch utilizes the Laco 200, which is based on the Sellita SW200. It has hacking seconds, a date complication, and a power reserve of 50 hours. The GMT watch is powered by the Laco 330 (Sellita SW330-1 base) with the additional 24-hour hand (caller GMT style), also with hacking seconds, date, and identical power reserve.
